About Pulse Lab

Pulse Lab is a local boutique High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) gym that is the first in Singapore to integrate Concept 2 machines with a HIIT Programme to engage virtually every muscle group, giving trainees the most calorie burn in the shortest time.

Focusing more on effort rather than ability, Pulse Lab utilizes state-of-the-art MyZone fitness belts in every workout. The high fidelity tracking of heart rate, calories, and motion — combined with every individual’s personal body metrics — gives the trainee a personalized MyZone Effort Point (MEP) because Maximum effort, reaps maximum reward.

Pulse Lab firmly believes in self-efficacy by incorporating team challenges, incentives, and creative circuits. Tracked with the MyZone app, this allows for community challenges and monthly rewards.

    The main target audience consists of people who were born prior to the 90s. A lot of whom were exposed to the the 90s electro pop culture. So once in a while we would produce artwork that caters to the theme, accompanied by music jams from the 80s and 90s, just to allow customers to feel a sense of nostalgia.

     

     

    Another example of artwork created to mimic the 90s electro theme. This video was created to show the transition of the old pulse-based logo to the new trinity logo to symbolise the 3 core components of Pulse Lab.

    Pulse Lab apparel designs. Custom printed polo tees were designed and printed for trainers of Pulse Lab. Occasionally, customer merchandise will be printed for trainees to purchase or to receive after completing a competitive event held at Pulse Lab.

    VIDEO PRODUCTION
    Here are some examples of the key videos produced for Pulse Lab to promote their core components of the gym. Pulse Lab's motto is "Ride, Ski, Row", each verb representing one of the stella group of machines within the gym, the Assualt Bike (Ride), the SkiErg (Ski) and the RowErg (Row). The following videos helps to showcase the individual machines and demonstrate the standard moves.
     
    Ride

    One of the 3 core components of Pulse Lab’s motto “Ride, Ski, Row”, the video seeks to demonstrate the intensity of the Assault Bike and promote it to potential customers viewing on social media.

    The second core component to Pulse Lab’s motto. This video was made to demonstrate the techniques of the SkiErg machine and for marketing on social media.

    The last but the most brutal (in my opinion) component of Pulse Lab’s core components, the RowErg machine. Seen here, Jeremy (owner) demonstrates the power of each stroke. Video was also for marketing purposes on social media.

    Occasionally, we would post troll videos to mimic memes that already exists online just to lighten things up and stay relevant to the younger generation of HIIT customers.
